The cool thing about RandomKid is that it HELPS KIDS HELP OTHERS--so it's supporting many, many charities, AND building the philanthropists of tomorrow!
RandomKid is a 501C3 nonprofit that was co-founded in 2005 after our then 10 year-old CEO, Talia Leman, united kids across the USA to report over $10 million for hurricane Katrina/Rita relief (www.halloweenhelpers.blogspot.com). In doing so, RandomKid created a philanthropic force, voice and entity for America's youth, enabling their giving power to be recognized and ranked with top U.S. corporations.
Randomkid now works to harness the giving power of kids toward other great causes. We educate, mobilize, unify and empower youth, nationally and internationally, in order to directly impact a broad spectrum of local, national and global needs. Click here to read about the IMPACT these kids have already made in the world!
All our programs and projects are initiated by Kids; random kids. For us, it's all about the "Power of ANY One." Kids often have BIG ideas. RandomKid takes their ideas for a better tomorrow seriously and helps them generate the momentum that inspires others in order to make their ideas a reality.
Some kids come to us simply wanting to be a part of something great. We help these kids identify projects that would be meaningful to them, bringing their unique abilities and talents to these projects in order to help knock them out of the park.

"Believe in your dreams", RandomKid CEO Talia Leman, now age 12, advises. "Find others who believe in them, too, by registering with RandomKid. You have the power in you to make this world a better place!"

Talia Leman is the CEO and a founder of RandomKid. She downloads registration forms, developing ideas, strategies and networks between kids nationwide to increase their impact. She also leads "power" assemblies, doles out interest-free "loans" to kids to help jumpstart their philanthropic ventures, conducts conference calls, and trains kids in media relations. Having been appointed UNICEF's first known National Youth Ambassador, Talia has worked with kids from 20 countries and reported close to 10.5 million dollars for her RandomKid-guided initiatives. Talia is the winner of numerous international and national awards for her philanthropic work (selected by "Character Counts" as one of the world's 48 people of Character) and has been twice featured on the TODAY SHOW. What does Talia love most about RandomKid? "The moment when the kid finally gets to give whatever it is they raised to the recipient. The look on their faces is priceless." |

Anne Ginther is the President and a founder of RandomKid. She recruited and placed executives with fortune 100 companies for over 15 years until she shut down her successful recruitment firm to start and run RandomKid for free. USA Today calls her "The Pied Piper" guiding child-led initiatives. L'Oreal Paris recognized Anne as a 2009 "Woman of Worth" (see video here). It's with contagious enthusiasm that Anne has led a number of youth over the years: teaching Junior Achievement, starting and running a middle school youth group at her church, teaching Sunday school music, and more. Anne will tell you she’s just a “Random Mom.” She has accomplished all that she’s done with no money and no connections, and she’s reaching out to inspire others (kids and adults!) to do the same. Anne is writing a book in her spare time about her anonymous relationship with her birth father who referred her for adoption as an infant. What Anne likes best about RandomKid is proving that any random kid, no matter the background or abilities, CAN positively and measurably change the world! |
