Anti Cigarette Butt Campaign

Launch a "Plant Your Butts Here" Campaign in your town. Begin with one street, expand to two streets and then eventually to the entire town so there is a cigarette butt planter every 100 feet within the town. The anti-smoking laws that most cities are now enforcing cause smokers to flick, stop or toss their cigarette butts on the ground before entering a building. This has increased the amount of butts that litter the streets. Through educating the pubic about the negative effects of cigarette butts on the environment and making the butt disposal receptacles in accessible places, we can reduce the number of cigarette butts that litter the streets in our community. The butt planters are whimsical with the "Plant Your Butt Here" theme and provoke interest and amusement. Something so small does make a difference! We are committed to helping any organization begin this project in their community. Join us in this nationwide endeavor. Together we can make a difference, one butt at a time! more

Bibles for the Children of God

Do you find old Bibles lying around your house? Why not donate them to a worthy cause? The Bible League would be happy to accept them from you. They strive to bring the gospel of the Lord to people in developing countries everyday. While you are recycling - you are also filling peoples hearts with the Word of God. In all of America, we are so blessed to be free to read a Bible. Make people you do not even know happy at heart because they have God in their minds and souls. If you ship them as 'Media Mail' you will get a better price when shipping them. Recycle your complete Bibles to the Bible League anywhere and help out another neighbour of Christ. Thank you! more

FromtheHart

Hi, my name is Ariana and I was diagnosed with severe food allergies when I was only 9 months. I was not allowed to have milk, egg, peanut, tree-nut, and shellfish or any bi-products, and it hit me hard growing up. When I was about four or five, some kids and adults said "I am surprised you are growing" and other things like that as if you could not survive without pizza or ice cream and lots of other dairy foods. By having a strict diet, I became more health and environmentally conscious, especially since my tween age brother has been a vegetarian for almost a year and a half. My family is an advocate in the fight against breast cancer to commemorate the loss of my grandmother, which also made me want to do something to help the environment. Of the bottles of water being bought each year, 80% end up in a landfills, even though recycling programs exist. Kids and families can also find this eco-friendly reusable bottle, which comes in a variety of colors, very helpful. It’s great for biking, camp, trips, college, school, or even just use it for everyday walks and can fold up in your pocket after use. Helping raise awareness in this ANTI-BOTTLE Project is very important because a percentage of breast cancer is due to environmental factors. To help protect my mom, my generation and those to come I have to do this. more
