I am a 15 year old Sophomore. When I was twelve I raised $17,000 for my brother to get a diabetic alert dog. I built my first website that received over 2 million web hits and was featured on CNN and Good Morning America. For my 13th birthday I attended college for Web and Application Design. During my freshman year of High school I enrolled in a 3D animation program. During the first 4 weeks in, I completed the sophomore level semester final. By the end of my freshman year I had completed all 4 years of 3D classes. I still continue with web design, now as a business, and continue to learn more about digital media. |
At 6 years old our friend Ciara nearly died in a diabetic coma. Besides the trauma of the hospital and the anguish to her family, the hospital bill was over a quarter of a million dollars. Now that Ciara has a service dog (that costs far less that that one hospital stay), she hasn't had a single serious low blood sugar in almost 2 years! She has a best friend that protects her life every day. Ciara's family often sends us updates, and even came for a visit this summer.
