The Environmental Science classes are selling reusable water bottles to promote the 3 Rs (reduce-reuse-recycle) and to raise money for creating rain barrels to support our first outdoor classroom, a native plants garden.

Project Description

We are adding a native plants garden as an outdoor classroom, but rainfall is not constant, so we want to be able to build rain barrels to collect the runoff from the school roof to use for irrigation. Water scarcity is an issue in Florida, so promotion of reusable water bottles and rain water storage for irrigation will help us educate younger students through the city parks system.
