Goal : $400
Raised : $0
Remaining : $400

Welcome to the Boycott the Bottle Website! This was started by a group of Middle School Students at St. Andrew's Priory. Basically, our title says it all. We want students, faculty and staff to Boycott Disposable Water Bottles. We are working as a school to reduce our plastic waste. Did you know at our school approximately 96 water bottles are sold per day? That comes out to 17,280 bottles per school year. Statistically, only 16 of the 96 bottles will be recycled. To cut down on this problem we are selling Vapur water bottles so our plastic bottles don't end up in the ocean or our landfills.

For every $[0] raised this organization will provide [1] [to be determined by each group] for [0] recipient(s) living in : Global

Project Description

The Boycott the Bottle Club is trying to encourage more students, faculty, and staff to use reusable water bottles instead of creating more plastic waste. We will kick off our year long project in May 2011 by selling Vapur water bottles. We will continue in the 2011-12 school year to educate our school community about the need to reduce our waste. Proceeds will be used to help "Green the Priory," and purchase more recycling containers.
