My name is Madame Kelly, and I am the French teacher at McKinney High School in McKinney, Texas. I am also the faculty sponsor for the McKinney High School French Club. Anne Ginther, the founder of Random Kid, is my friend, and through her, I was able to connect with Lisa Rueff, who is working to build the Jacmel Children's Center in Haiti. The MHS French Club has approximately 40 members so far for the 2011-2012 school year. We are a very active club. We participate in spirit events for school (we just won 2nd place for most spirited float in our Homecoming Parade!), we do activities related to the French-speaking world such as cooking classes, and we are very excited to have our first fundraiser be associated with Random Kid and the Jacmel Children's Center.

What you can experience through this

By donating to the Hope for Haiti's Children project, you can know that you have helped to build a haven for children desperately in need of your help. Children who have been devastated by the earthquake of January 2010 will be able to be fed, educated and provided a safe place to sleep each night because of your thoughtfulness and generosity. Please donate as soon as you can so we can send money to Lisa Rueff before she travels to Haiti on November 21, 2011. If you work for a company that will match your donations to charity, please let them know about our webpage so that your company can also be a part of this amazing experience. RandomKid is a nonprofit 501 (C)(3) organization so donations are definitely tax deductible. Thank you! Merci! (French) Mèsi! (Creole)
