YODEL? Perform a magic trick? Drink milk through your nose? Then USE YOUR TALENT to CHANGE THE WORLD! Sam’s World Changers, a group of 4-6th grade Smith students are planning a “Sam’s World Changing Talent Show” for the evening of Friday, May 20th. This talent show has a twist… each act will have the opportunity to create their very own worldchanging webpage that can show video of their act, or just tell family and friends about what they’re doing to make the world a better place, and ask for sponsors for their act in the show. The only minimum requirement is that the act puts out their best world changing efforts to help these causes. Get people to donate and/or come to the show! ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TO THE THREE CHARITIES THE KIDS SELECTED (Japan, Seattle Children s Hospital/Kids with cancer, National Wildlife Federation--see links for more details). If you’re interested in performing a 3-minute-act, please complete the form below and return it to your teacher by April 14th. If we get a bazillion acts that want to be in the show, then we will have to narrow it down, and randomly select acts to allow for as much variety in talent and age as possible.
